Located 80 km west of Helsinki, on Lake Lohjanjärvi, 40 m away (the largest lake in Uusimaa, 10 x 10 km), with a shallow, gently deepening hard bottom, and clay deeper down. There is a pier, swimming ladder, and lounging areas, as well as a private rowing boat (the outboard motor shown in the picture is not available).
Enjoy a cozy villa life in this large complex built in 1968 on the shores of Lake Lohjanjärvi in Jalassaari. The bedrooms are divided as follows: the main cottage has four bedrooms, the loft barn has two bedrooms, and there is a separate bedroom with a double bed and its own entrance next to the sauna.
Main cottage (115 m2): living room with an additional mattress for one, kitchen, bedroom with 2 beds, bedroom with 2 beds, bedroom with an antique bunk bed, bedroom with one bed, 2 separate indoor toilets (bathroom and separate toilets renovated in 2021/2022), shower, glazed veranda with dining set for 8, terrace. The glazed veranda is used as storage for summer furniture in winter.
Travel cots for two children. Air source heat pump. Note: There is no TV in the property. The main cottage and its immediate vicinity have fast broadband access. Electric smoker.
The separate loft barn (35 m2), available year-round, has two double bedrooms with separate beds, one bedroom downstairs and one upstairs. Electric heating, refrigerator, outhouse toilet. The loft barn has fairly steep stairs to the upper floor (stairs are outside under a shelter). The loft barn is located about 50 m from the cottage.
Separate lakeside sauna (20 m2), usable year-round, renovated in 2025, with a wood-heated stove and dressing room. Water is carried from the lake. In winter, when the lake is frozen, water is carried from the main house to the sauna. Water is heated in the stove's tank. From the sauna building's terrace, there is a separate entrance to the sauna chamber, which has a double bed (160 cm wide) and two wardrobes.
The villa is located in Jalassaari on Lake Lohjanjärvi, offering a peaceful setting with good access. You can drive right up to the main building. The property includes a villa, a separate four-person loft cabin, and a lakeside sauna.
In front of the villa, there is a spacious terrace area where you can relax either on the terrace or in the fully covered glass veranda.
The yard is open, wooded, and rocky. There is a slope leading to the shore, but good stairs provide access. At the shore, there is a pier with benches and swimming steps. Lake Lohjanjärvi is a clean and fish-rich lake.
The nearest neighbor is 130 meters away, which is another cabin belonging to the owner's family (visible only during the leafless season). Another rental villa by the owner, Lomarenkaan 13088 Metsä-Iivari, is located 200 meters away. The villas are not visible to each other, but there is visibility from the piers.
Helsinki with its attractions is 85 km away, Lohja 20 km (including the old stone church of St. Lawrence and the Tytyri Mine Museum), Karjaa 30 km, the spas of Siuntio and Päiväkumpu 25 km, Vihti Ski slopes 35 km, St. Laurence Golf 20 km, Kisakallio Sports Institute 30 km, Mustio Castle 30 km, and Alitalo Apple Winery 4 km.
Final cleaning is included in the reservations. Bed linen (sheets and towels) can be reserved for an additional fee. Please note that bed linen is not included in the price, so please bring your own or select the required amount from the additional services, thank you.
Note! Bringing a trailer pool to the property is NOT allowed. Trailer pools are also not allowed at any Lomarengas Oy properties without the owner's permission. Paintball is not allowed on the property grounds.
Note! A security deposit of 150 euros in cash may be required according to the booking terms. The deposit will be refunded on the departure day if everything is in order.
